"Talk Like Ted" book by, Carmin Gallo, Communicate your Ideas

Communicate your ideas..

Emotional, Novel and Memorable..

It's all about communication, it started a long time ago when we were firstborn. Cue the crying sounds that's right. It gets a bit noisier later on, but that's ok because along the way we learn how to get better on how to communicate our needs, wants, and ideas. Some of us master the art of communication and some of us don’t, but its ok we’ve got time to learn and master it if we work on it.

Throughout my college years, and they were quite a lot. I went through 4 different majors and I ended up in a communication major and I thank God every day for that. I graduated in 2007 with a bachelor degree in communication.

When we learn more and more about communication our perspective about life, work, relationships and our whole world changes and we start to look at things from a different perspective. Since I love learning, exploring, searching, and then to communicate all that with people, I will share the workshop summary that I did for Sparks at their Toastmasters meeting last week.

Firstly, I would like to Thank Sparks and Muhammad Aljaali, President of Sparkstmc,  for this opportunity. (if you would like to know more about Sparkstmc you can click on Sparks in blue).

It was a great opportunity for me to share the great secrets of Carmine Gallo’s book “Talk Like Ted"

In his book, Gallo did an incredible job, that if I may say is considered the bible of public speaking. He sums up the most important techniques in one book; in a very simple way and this is how it goes:

He breaks down a whole speech or a talk in three main parts and under each part there are three secrets, let's go ahead and reveal the secrets.

1- Emotional

2- Novel

3- Memorable

Have the courage to communicate your ideas and passion in the best way, and if you did, you’re going to be unstoppable.

Best,

Nebal
